Trump Outlines Plan to End Russo-Ukrainian War

Former President Donald Trump detailed his strategy to end the Russo-Ukrainian War during a press gaggle Sunday, stating he is “working very hard” to broker peace. Speaking in Florida, Trump expressed confidence that both Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy want the war to end.

Negotiations, set to begin in Saudi Arabia, will include U.S. and Russian officials, though Ukraine’s direct involvement remains uncertain. Trump’s National Security Advisor, Michael Waltz, emphasized that the talks aim for a “permanent end to the war,” with the U.S. shifting the financial burden to Europe.

Zelenskyy, in a separate interview, voiced skepticism, warning Trump not to trust Putin’s promises. Meanwhile, Vice President JD Vance confirmed Trump’s broad approach, involving economic and military leverage, to secure a deal.

With the world watching, the outcome of these negotiations could significantly shape U.S. foreign policy and global stability.
