In a small village on the edge of a forest, residents woke up to an unexpected hero—a tiny stray dog named Luki. For years, Luki wandered the streets, known by everyone but belonging to no one.
One early morning, Luki began barking loudly near the home of an elderly couple. At first, the neighbors thought he was just hungry… but Luki didn’t stop. He barked nonstop and even pulled at the woman’s coat when she opened the door.
Confused but curious, she followed the little dog towards the forest path. That’s when she heard a faint cry.
A baby deer had fallen into a narrow ditch and couldn’t climb out.
Thanks to Luki’s persistence, the villagers gathered quickly and managed to rescue the frightened fawn. The moment the deer stood up, still trembling, Luki gently nudged it with his nose—as if checking if it was okay.

The villagers have now decided to build Luki a small shelter, and many are offering to adopt him. But Luki still spends every morning near the forest—watching, listening, maybe waiting for someone else who might need his help.
