Michael J. Fox, who has fought Parkinson’s disease for thirty years, provided a moving health report. Fox, a well-known campaigner, is unwavering in his will to combat the illness in spite of the obstacles.
“It’s getting tougher,” he said in a recent interview, acknowledging the growing challenges of living with Parkinson’s. Fox also disclosed that he had recently had spine surgery because of a benign tumor that was impairing his mobility and causing multiple fractures. “You don’t die from Parkinson’s,” he explained. In his next documentary, “Still,” Fox will focus on his fight with Parkinson’s disease, detailing the excruciating agony and tremors he experiences. Fox maintains his optimism in spite of the difficulties, saying he is not “going anywhere.”
