Officers Save Infant After Emergency Call

Two local police officers are being praised as heroes after saving the life of a 7-month-old baby during an emergency call on Tuesday afternoon.
According to police reports, the officers arrived within minutes after receiving a call about an unresponsive infant. When they entered the home, the baby had stopped breathing. The officers immediately began CPR, taking turns while staying on the phone with medical dispatch for guidance.
Neighbors say the scene was emotional, with the officers refusing to give up until the baby took a faint breath.
Moments later, paramedics arrived and transported the infant to the hospital, where doctors confirmed the baby is now in stable condition.
“Their quick actions and training saved a life today,” said the police department in a public statement.
The family thanked the officers for not hesitating and for fighting until the very last second to bring their child back.
